Principalship-Speaking from Experience
Every organization needs a person who inspires its employees to meet the mission and vision of the organization. In school districts, schools are led by school leaders who serve in the principal role. Many educators want to pursue the Principalship as the next step in their career. Principals are responsible for creating the conditions necessary to improve student learning and organizational effectiveness. They are also responsible for supervising, coaching, and evaluating the employees of the school. Being an effective principal requires a leadership approach that moves the school toward achieving desired outcomes.
This course is helpful for those educators who want to pursue their career in school leadership or are new to the role of assistant principal or principal. This course aims to develop an awareness and understanding of the principal position in public schools. This curriculum consists of four modules.

Introduction to the topic and leadership and role of the principal.

Key conditions of effective leadership that lead to school improvement
